Day of Microblading

Keep Them Dry: For the first 24 hours, avoid getting your eyebrows wet. This includes not washing your face or taking hot showers.

Days 1-10: Healing Process

Gentle Cleansing: After the first 24 hours, clean your eyebrows once a day with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser and lukewarm water. Gently pat them dry with a clean tissue or cotton pad.

No Touching: Avoid touching your microbladed eyebrows with dirty hands, as this can introduce bacteria.

Avoid Makeup: Refrain from applying makeup or skincare products directly on your eyebrows during the healing period.

No Sun Exposure: Protect your eyebrows from direct sunlight and tanning beds. Use a wide-brimmed hat or sunglasses if necessary.

Avoid Swimming: Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and saunas during this time as chlorine and excessive moisture can affect the healing process.

No Excessive Sweating: Avoid strenuous exercise or activities that cause heavy sweating during the first week.

Days 10-21: Scabbing and Flaking

Don't Pick: Your eyebrows may scab and start to peel. Do not pick or scratch them, as this can result in pigment loss or scarring.

Moisturize Gently: Apply a thin layer of the provided aftercare ointment or a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated. Use clean hands to apply.

Avoid Saunas and Steam: Continue to avoid saunas, steam rooms, and excessive heat.

Long Term Care

Sun Protection: Always apply sunscreen to your eyebrows when exposed to the sun to prevent fading.

Touch-Up Session: Attend your scheduled touch-up session, usually 4-8 weeks after the initial microblading appointment, to perfect the shape and color.

Additional Tips

Avoid using retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), or any strong skincare products on or near your eyebrows, as they can cause fading.

Be patient during the healing process; your eyebrows may go through various color changes before settling into the desired shade.

If you experience excessive redness, swelling, pus, or signs of infection, contact your microblading technician and a healthcare professional immediately.

*Remember, proper aftercare is essential for the best results and long-lasting microbladed eyebrows. Follow these guidelines diligently to ensure your eyebrows heal beautifully and maintain their vibrancy.*
